Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Chin Waxing (5 Min).

The service itself takes about five minutes, though you should allow 10–15 minutes for consultation, prep and aftercare advice. Arrive with clean, dry skin and briefly discuss any allergies or skin concerns with your esthetician beforehand.

Most clients feel brief discomfort when the wax is removed, but sensations are quick and tolerable. We use soft wax and skilled technique to minimize pain, and applying a cold compress or calming lotion afterwards reduces sensitivity.

Cleanse the area and avoid heavy creams or oils before your visit. Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long for best results, and avoid retinoids or aggressive exfoliation 48 hours prior to reduce sensitivity.

Results usually last two to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones, and care. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser. Schedule touch-ups based on how quickly your hair returns.

Waxing can sometimes cause ingrown hairs. Reduce risk by gently exfoliating a few days after service, keeping the area moisturized, and avoiding picking. We can recommend post-wax products to prevent and treat ingrown hairs.

Chin Waxing (5 Min) can suit many skin types, but if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin we’ll perform a quick consultation. Patch testing and gentler wax formulas help reduce reactions; alternatives may be recommended for active lesions.
